About the Ministry

The Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection (MCCCP) was established in September 2021 on the basis of Presidential Decree 70/2021 - Greek Government Gazette 161/A/9-9-2021. 
In June 2023 the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Support was established as a support unit to the MCCCP on the basis of the Presidential Decree 77/2023 – Greek Government Gazette 130/Α/27-06-2023.
