BILATERAL AGREEMENTS

Greece has concluded bilateral agreements, Memoranda of Understanding and Protocols on issues related to, inter alia, emergency management, prevention, preparedness, as well as mutual assistance, with the following countries:
Azerbaijan, Albania, North Macedonia, France, USA, Israel, Cyprus, Malta, Montenegro, Ukraine, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey.

Multilateral agreements
Greece has also concluded multilateral agreements with the following countries and international organizations:
- BSEC: Azerbaijan-Albania-Armenia-Bulgaria-Georgia-Greece-Moldova-Ukraine-Romania-Russia (1999)
- EUR-OPA: Albania, Armenia, Belgium (withdrawn from 1-1-2023), North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Moldova, Monaco, Ukraine, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia (1992)
- Trilateral with Iran and Armenia: Memorandum of Cooperation on risk management related to technological and natural disasters (2001).

Mutual assistance at bilateral level
It is noted that from time to time and whenever necessary, assistance has been provided to and from our country, regardless of the existence of a relevant bilateral or multilateral contract.
